Shyfter

The Easypay Group payroll integration turns the hours, breaks and overtime validated in Shyfter into one monthly export, in the format Easypay Group expects. Your payroll team receives reliable data, and you stop rebuilding the month from timesheets.

Payroll is only as good as the hours behind it. When those hours travel by spreadsheet, email and phone call, mistakes are hard to avoid. This page explains who Easypay Group is, how Shyfter connects to it and how to set up the monthly export.

What Easypay Group is and who it serves

Easypay Group is a Belgian payroll provider. It publishes EASY Online, the payroll suite used by Horeca Focus, Ceges and Salary Solution. In other words, it sits behind several payroll offices that Belgian employers work with every day.

Shyfter is the workforce management software for shift-based teams. It brings together scheduling, time tracking and payroll preparation. With the Easypay Group integration, the hours managed in Shyfter feed your payroll without being typed a second time.

If your payroll office is one of the names above, you can also read the dedicated Horeca Focus page, or find Ceges and Salary Solution in the list of payroll partners.

Why connect Shyfter to Easypay Group

Most payroll corrections start upstream. A shift swapped and never updated, an overtime hour noted on paper, a break forgotten on a busy evening: the payroll office calculates exactly what it receives, and if the input is wrong, the pay slip is wrong too.

With Shyfter connected to Easypay Group:

  • hours come from the schedule and the time clock;
  • breaks and overtime are validated by a manager before closing;
  • the monthly export follows the format Easypay Group expects;
  • a copy of every export stays in Shyfter, ready for an audit or a check.

The result is fewer corrections, fewer revised pay slips and a calmer end of month for managers and payroll teams alike.

How the Easypay Group payroll integration works

The flow goes in one direction, from Shyfter to Easypay Group, once a month.

  1. Validate during the month. Managers validate hours, breaks and overtime in Shyfter, shift after shift.
  2. Generate the export. At the end of the month, the export is generated from the closing screen, in the format expected by Easypay Group.
  3. Send it. You send the file to the payroll team or upload it to the Easypay Group portal.
  4. Keep a copy. Shyfter keeps a copy of the export for audits and reconciliation.

Because the hours are validated as the month goes by, closing becomes a short routine instead of a long evening of checks.

What the payroll team receives

For the payroll team, the change is the quality of the input. Instead of collecting hours from several sources, they receive one export per month, built from hours a manager has already checked, in the format they work with. Fewer questions go back and forth, and when one does, the copy kept in Shyfter shows exactly what was sent and when.

For managers, the time clock and the schedule become the only places where hours are recorded. There is no separate sheet to keep up to date for payroll.

Set up the Easypay Group export, step by step

  1. Open the account settings in Shyfter.
  2. Choose Easypay Group as your payroll provider.
  3. Map the employee numbers used on the payroll side to your employees in Shyfter.
  4. Validate hours, breaks and overtime during the month.
  5. At closing, generate the export and send it to the payroll team or upload it to the portal.

Mapping employee numbers is the only real setup work. Once it is done, every month follows the same steps.

Use cases by industry

Restaurants and bars

Restaurants and bars juggle split shifts, late closings and students on weekends. Validating those hours in Shyfter before they reach the payroll team keeps the pay slips in line with what really happened on the floor.

Hotels

Hotels run around the clock, with night shifts, weekend work and several departments. One export per month, built from validated hours across every department, gives the payroll team a single, consistent file.

Part of a complete payroll preparation

The Easypay Group export is the last step of payroll preparation in Shyfter. Easypay Group is one of many Belgian payroll partners Shyfter works with.
